​​I founded Ascent Financial Consulting to continue helping clients solve business problems and enable the growth and success of their businesses. My career journey highlights my passion for helping businesses strengthen their financial foundations.

I began my career as an auditor at Ernst & Young, where I became immersed in the intricacies of my clients' accounting practices and systems. I emerged as a CPA with a deeper understanding of the problems faced by founders in leveraging good data and accurate financial statements. ​

In the spirit of continuous learning and improvement, I undertook a vigorous quantitative master's program in Financial Analysis in 2009 at the University of San Francisco. Upon graduation, I was more prepared than ever to add value to my clients as a well-rounded financial professional.

At The Brenner Group based in Silicon Valley, California, I was a financial consultant to numerous startup and emerging growth VC-backed technology clients. As a director in Consulting at Armanino LLP, a top 20 US CPA firm, I co-led the technology industry accounting practice, playing a pivotal role in how the firm serves its clients, leveraging industry knowledge to drive exceptional client outcomes.
